Today is Monday, April 29, 2019. Two days ago, Riley turned one month old. That time flew by pretty quickly…which only tells me that the next 18 years will fly by just as quickly.
It seems like only yesterday we were still in the hospital waiting for her to be born, and yet, here we are, a full month away from that event.
Riley goes in for her 1-month checkup today. When she was born, she was 7lb 6oz. Shortly afterward for her first checkup, she dropped to about 6lbs 13oz, but we got her back to birth weight shortly after. Now…if our home scale is an indication, she should be close to 9.5 pounds! I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or she’s just a little piggy, I guess Dr. Josh will let us know today. 😁
I am back to work today for the first time in a month…it’s good to get back into my normal routine, but I’d rather be at home. Meghan still has another month and a half off from work, and then we have to start dealing with daycare. Thankfully we were able to get into the place we wanted, we just have to work up to the point of leaving her with strangers!
